George Goodman

OD, FAAO

Vision Science and Optometry graduate from Northeastern State University, specializes in refractive surgery.

Dr. Goodman received his Bachelor of Science in Vision Science from Northeastern State University (NSU) and his Doctorate from Northeastern State University – Oklahoma College of Optometry (NSUOCO). Dr. Goodman is a 3rd generation Optometrist, and since starting practice, he has been specializing in the management of patients undergoing all forms of refractive surgery.

Prior to becoming the Clinical Director of TLC Denver, Dr. Goodman has served as the Clinical Director for the National Medical Director of TLC in Chicago, the Senior Manager of Clinical Affairs for a medical device company in Dallas, and the Co-founder of the Advanced Laser Center in Oklahoma.

Dr. Goodman is a member of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO), American Optometric Association (AOA), Colorado Optometric Association (COA), Optometric Council on Refractive Technologies (OCRT), and is an Adjunct Faculty Member at NSUOCO. Dr. Goodman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO), and is certified in Anterior Segment Ophthalmic Lasers. Dr. Goodman has published multiple books, including an Ophthalmology textbook, and has been published twice in Review of Optometry on the subjects of Dry Eye and Corneal Biomechanics. Additionally, Dr. Goodman is one of the co-founders of TLC’s Focus on Co-Management affiliate newsletter. Other extra-curricular activities include having served on the Board of Directors and the Medical Advisory Board for the Oklahoma Lupus Association.
